HEALTH INFORMATION REPOSITORY
Over the years, our network of Fortis Hospitals, diagnostic labs and retail pharmacies has generated a vast quantum of information on preventive health and cure. The SAVERA programme aims to develop a platform for collating, hosting and sharing this data, publications, and audio visual content that will be easily accessible. The idea is to create a credible data repository that can be utilised for health research including activities such as analysing emerging health trends and shifts that can serve as an early warning system to help initiate meaningful policy interventions.
A better understanding of disease terminology, symptoms and medicine usage norms can also help facilitate better administration of treatment pathways and reducing chances of error and risks.
In collaboration with our partners, SAVERA seeks to create a library of such literature which is simple to understand, in multiple languages and address the literacy and understanding levels of all audiences. While created with medical inputs, the objective it to demystify the content and convert the same into a language and style which ensures clarity in understanding.

Activities done as a part of SAVERA intervention on Tobacco Control :
- Sensitization of District Police Heads of 7 districts i.e. Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonepat, Jhajjar, Hisar, Panchkula and Ambala
- Designated Nodal Officers in all 7 Districts
- Challan books printed in 5 districts and training of SHOs in 3 Districts. 4582 Challans in Gurugram.
- Sensitization of more than 1800 officials of Education Dept. in 2 divisional workshops
- Sensitization of over 2000 Police Officials
- Sensitization of police officials on a regular basis
The Tobacco challans and people sensitized looks very bad - pls make way the numbers are written more appealing and they should go from last month to earlier years not the other way round.
First Aid training should be another symbol _ again the months and numbers are VERY messy – at least they should be formatted !
Ashray Clinic and Smoke Cessation Clinic should be under 2017 pilot projects – both of them need to have just one number – NOT monthly anymore
SAVERA partners should also have Fortis Malar + FORTIS

First Aid and Basic Life Support Training
Statistics claim that 17 people die every hour on Indian Roads and 46 children die every day on Indian Roads. Over 10 LAKH people have been killed in road accidents in the past decade.
50% of road accidents could have been avoided if rapid assistance was rendered.
There is limited awareness about the number of lives that can be saved through knowledge of First Aid and Basic Life Support training. In the current situation, this is not seen as critical.
